Tivoli Associates is IBM’s leading contractor for Tivoli Storage Manager.  Using over 18 years' experience with all versions and iterations of TSM, we have selected the right industry standards for backup and, more importantly, recovery of your data.

TSM in a Box has hardware powerful enough to support clients (servers to be backed up) in several sizes.

TSM in a Box has configurations that will allow for client data to be stored in a fashion that will allow for rapid recovery.

TSM is policy driven, and the truth is most customers do not understand how to select the policies that would most benefit them.  Instead of building policies that will make TSM work like other software products customers are familiar with, TSM in a Box is built with policies that will most benefit you, using what TSM was designed for.

Customers will fill out an online configuration form and TSM in a Box will do the rest.

Everyone thinks their data is the most important data in the company, but we all know that not everything is as important as you think.  TSM in a Box builds its policies and storage pools based on recovery time objectives.

Servers are assigned High Critical, Critical and Non-Critical domains.  This allows for the most important servers to be recovered first followed by the next important, and so on.
