Handling Errors

If the administrator wishes to handle the error message, he has two possibilities.

1. Click the yellow square. This will immediately give him an adminstrative console that is connected to the TSM server in question and will allow him to see all messages, only error messages or to enter TSM commands:

By clicking the "Admin console" tab the administrator gains control over the server:

2. Another possibility is to right-click the yellow square:

If you select "Start viewer on this server", the normal TSMManager viewer is started and is automatically directed through the correct collector, it is logged on and the TSM server under investigation is selected:

You can now work with the TSM server through the client.

So, even though you may have 1500 TSM servers, you are only one or two clicks from accessing any one of them and can overview their status in one window.
